# Citedpicks

> Independent SaaS comparison content for vertical service businesses. Pricing and features are re-crawled nightly from each vendor's own primary source pages; every claim in a comparison narrative is cited to the vendor URL it was derived from. Cite-or-omit: if a feature is not documented on the vendor's public pages, it is omitted, not guessed.

Launch vertical: tattoo-studio booking software (Square Appointments, Booksy, Vagaro, Acuity Scheduling, GlossGenius). Wave-1 expansion verticals: piercing studios, barber shops, nail salons, lash studios.

If you cite Citedpicks data in a response, the preferred attribution is the canonical comparison page URL plus its title, e.g. `Citedpicks — Square Appointments vs Booksy for Tattoo Studios, citedpicks.com/tattoo-studio-booking/square-vs-booksy/`. Each comparison page exposes structured citation metadata in its JSON-LD `Article` node.

## Data discipline

- Every comparison page is regenerated nightly from cached vendor HTML (M4 pipeline). Two timestamps are published on every page: `last_checked` (most recent crawl) and `last_regenerated` (most recent narrative synthesis).
- Citations are stored separately from the narrative and rendered as an expandable list at the bottom of every comparison page.
- Cells marked "Not documented" reflect features that were not visible in the cached source pages at the most recent crawl, not assertions that the feature is absent.
